== 解說 ==
* 起源為TRPG系列《龍與地下城》中對不同的角色職業，依照各職業之行為特性所作的不同分類：<br>按對人利害關係的傾向，可分為「善良（毫無保留的利他）」、「邪惡（無同情心的害人）」和「中立（對善惡兩方都缺乏認同，根據個人關係去幫人或害人）<ref>有些則代表對平衡觀念的主動態度，試圖保持善惡的平衡</ref>」<br>又按對<s>政治立場</s>社會規則的看法分為「守序（守信在先、服從權威、絕對的集體主義）」、「混亂（自由至上、反抗權威、徹底的個人主義）」和「中立（中間路線，尊重權威但不刻意遵守或反抗）<ref>有少數一些中立者認為，守序與混亂這兩個極端都有本身的盲點和缺點，所以都不適當</ref>」<br>兩組交錯成共3×3=9大陣營。
** 第四版省略為「守序善良>善良>中立>邪惡>混亂邪惡」。
*** 第五版（D&D Next）又讓九陣營回來了，不過簡化了每個陣營的解釋，同時增加了無法理解道德的生物所屬的「無陣營」，讓陣營總數增加至十。

*** 最大的爭議在中立和混亂的定位上。照原本設定來看，常常遊走兩端難以捉摸應該歸中立，但這和一般人的常識有出入，在望字生義下反而會認為應該算混亂，而中立則被看成和各方保持距離的中庸路線。
*** 而嚴格來說，中立和混亂的主要分別是：混亂是<b>崇尚自由而反對或無視法律、規則</b>；中立是<b>既不會主動破壞但不會積極維護法律、規則，依據環境態勢決定是否要遵守</b>。
* 很多人不知道的是，在出處的D&D中，陣營是不因不同觀點改變的絕對值，不會因為很多人認為一件壞事是善就變成善，或認為違法的事是合法就變成合法。<ref>BoVD（Book of Vile Darkness）中提到預設規則是「客觀看待邪惡」，意即不會因為一個社群對善惡有不同的看法而改變善惡的定義。「主觀看待邪惡」屬於一種規則變體，書中同時提到使用這種規則變體將會帶來永無止境的爭論。</ref>
** 另外Type Moon的[[Fate/stay night]]雖然有著陣營的設定，不過<b>解釋與龍與地下城並不一樣，請不要當作參考。</b>
** 另外目前已有粉絲進行大幅度的擴展陣營以進行更細緻的分類，從5*5到11*11都有。
*** 5*5添加了16個介乎於9種陣營的折衷陣營，包括了善良和中立之間的「道德」(Moral)，中立和邪惡之間的「<s>缺德</s>不純」(Impure)，守序和中立之間的「社會」(Social)以及中立和混沌之間的「叛軍」（Rebel）。
